Disability: Life in ChurchAlthough good work has been done on disability inclusion in churches, the World Council of Churches also identified gaps in that the voices of persons with disabilities within the church are not heard. This publication emphasises that “it is no longer valid for other Christians to speak about persons with disabilities as if we weren’t already present in the church to speak up for ourselves.”

Statement on Ecumenical Solidarity with Sudan

A woman walks to fetch water in Kauda,It has been more than a year since large-scale fighting broke out between the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). This conflict between two former allies in the 2021 military coup that toppled the previous transitional government has almost destroyed a country whose people had already suffered through many years of protracted and multidimensional crises.
