Short-Term Accommodation including RespiteShort Term Accommodation, including respite, is funding for support and accommodation for a short time away from your usual home. It covers the cost of your care in another place for up to 14 days at a time. You might have a short stay with other people, or by yourself. It’s often funded when your usual carers aren’t available, or for you to try new things.

Nothing tastes sweeter than a cozy and secure getaway from home. Amos Care’s Short- Term Accommodation, including respite, is an NDIS support plan meticulously designed to address NDIS participants’ need for a short period away from their usual spot. This design provides respite care, intended to relieve carers or informal supports temporarily of their caring role and to give them a short break. By capitalizing on such supports, participants can preferably take up new skills and personal interests, while building strong relationships to foster mutual growth. We provide the following services:

  • Personal care and increased-independence
  • Short-term in-home and out-of-home care services
  • Emergency respite, planned respite, and supported independent living for children and families
  • Supported individual needs when your usual support network isn’t available for a short period
  • Care after a hospital stay
  • Use your Short-Term Accommodation funding flexibly
