As we’ve mentioned throughout this newsletter, we’re committed to listening to participants, their families and providers to understand their experience with the NDIS. There are many ways we talk to participants and their supporters about how the Scheme is working, and ways it can be better.
One of the ways we do this is through the Participant Satisfaction Survey (opens in new window).
We know that every interaction, big or small, has an impact. We want this to be a positive experience. Whether it went well, or we need to do better, you can tell us by taking part in this survey.
If you would like to take part, you can call us on 1800 800 110 or email enquiries@ndis.gov.au. We will be reaching out to some people proactively to ask if you want to participate. Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) collects this information for us.
The valuable insight you share can help us find ways to improve the NDIS experience.
Participation in the survey is voluntary and will not affect your NDIS funding.

The Participant Satisfaction Survey (PSS) is one of the ways we can hear from people connecting with the NDIS, including applicants, participants and their families and carers.
This includes people using community connections, early supports, and applying to the NDIS.
It also includes the planning process, which could be a recent plan approval, plan implementation meeting, or a plan reassessment.
We use the survey to collect feedback on your interactions with the scheme.
Whether it went well, or we need to do better, you can tell us in this survey.
It’s an opportunity to think about the people you spoke with from the NDIA or a Partner organisation and reflect on these questions:
- Did they listen and understand?
- How did they treat you?
- Were things explained to you well enough?
- Was information easy to understand?
The valuable insight you share can help us improve your NDIS experience.
