Join the free online event for the launch of the My Body, My Voice report exploring experiences of women with disabilities, with expert insights and a Q&A panel discussion on Tuesday, 29 October from 10:00 am.
Launch Event: My Body, My Voice Report
Recent discussions on body image have often overlooked the experiences of women with disabilities. The My Body, My Voice project, led by Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE) and supported by Women with Disabilities Victoria and Butterfly Foundation, addressed this gap by amplifying the voices of women with disabilities.
In this free webinar, on Tuesday October 29, 10am – 11:30am AEDT, Women’s Health in the South East will share some salient findings from the report as well as key recommendations for the healthcare sector, and for primary prevention of body dissatisfaction in women with disabilities.
The webinar will feature a Q&A panel discussion with:
- Jessica Hooper – Lived Experience Advocate
- Josephine Money – Clinical Director, Eat Love Live
- Natalie Opasinis – Women’s Health and Engagement Officer, WHISE
